The Superchrono SEO Experience

This was one of our e-commerce project targeting world wide customers, and alot of work was put into SEO and Web Copywriting. Being a new and unknown website, it was certainly an uphill task in convincing the first few clients to try this new Superchrono website out.

Being new to the watch online retail domain, we had a good discussion with the client to understand the business and the pysche of the targeted visitors.

After some really hard work, our SEO results begin to show on Google. Quite a number of our keywords came out top in Google SERPs. "Seiko bar honda" page 1, "seiko blue monster" page 1 etc etc. These organise search engine results brought in extremely targeted audience and helped lowered the acquisition cost of PPC visitor significantly.

Within the first six weeks of launch and endless SEO and Copywriting finetuning, we close our first transaction and it started to grow. Over the next 6 months, the website gained a momentum in visitor growth and formed a respectable fan base.

In the above image, you can see the last captured web statistics in the early May 2006. The important column here is the visitor column which tracked the number of unique visitors in a day. The website now recieves over 3000 visitors a day and is maintaining daily sales, as we met and exceeded our conversion target. From last check, it seemed that our SEO website here has outperformed several older websites in the industry!

It was a fantastic start for Design Prodigy as it served the point that knowledge and hardwork is key to online success. We have further developed more SEO websites that worked for the clients of various industries and had gained very valuable cross spectrum domain knowledge.

The business nature may be different, but the e-business rules remains the same. It is only when the client and us worked together as a team, that we are able to strategize a SEO website that works for the client.
