History of Design Prodigy

In 2003 it was noticed that a great majority of Singapore websites have less than 7 visitors a day. Coupled with the emergence of Search Engines like Google and Yahoo at that time, we realised that websites who appear at the first result page has significantly greater amount of targeted traffic.

So, intrigued and driven by the possibilities, we went scouring the internet, books and attended seminars to learn from others who had done it before.

Two years on, the first working website was successfully delivered and we never looked back. It was not easy as it is all about knowledge and hardwork. The skill sets required were also diverse, stretching from conceptualising, marketing, aesthetic, content writing, programming and more.

In 2005, a team was assembled together with a business plan and Design Prodigy was born.

Marc Goh, Director of Design Prodigy, brings with him over 10 years of experience in Information Technology. His experience includes IT project management, operations, System-level planning and design. He has spent two years studying the IT leverage on business and was involved in organisation-wide IT masterplanning.

Marc Goh graduated from NUS with Bach of Engineering (Hons) in 1997, he recieved a Certification of Information Technology from Singapore Polytechnic and is well versed in Information Techonology Infrastructure Language (ITIL).
